Sourced from an independent non-profit dedicated to protecting forests, each wick purchase contributes to planting a tree. The wooden wick burns cleaner than cotton wicks, produces less soot, and — best of all — it crackles as it burns, like a small, gentle fire in the room. The first time you light it, burn until the entire surface has melted to the edges (2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling and ensure the longest, most even burn possible.

• First burn: light until the full surface melts to the edges (2–3 hours) — prevents tunneling
• Trim the wick before every lighting; remove any blackened tip once cooled
• Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time
• Leave approximately ½ inch of wax at the bottom — do not burn all the way down
• Never leave unattended
