Fear is loud. It speaks first, it speaks often, and it speaks with great confidence about all the reasons why the thing she is hoping for will not happen, why the step she is considering is too risky, why the dream is too big and the obstacle is too great and the outcome is too uncertain. Fear is very good at its job.
But faith is louder. Faith is the voice that says: I know the One who holds the outcome, and He is good, and He has not brought me this far to abandon me now. Faith is the voice that has been speaking since the beginning of time — through the Red Sea and the lion’s den and the valley of the shadow of death and the garden tomb — and it has never once been wrong. Let your faith be bigger than your fear. Not the absence of fear. Not the pretense that the fear is not real. But the daily, deliberate, courageous choice to let faith speak louder.
The Let Your Faith Be Bigger Than Your Fear Perfect Pallet sign by Sincere Surroundings puts that declaration on the wall — 14" x 14" x 2", rustic and beautiful, the piece that speaks into the room every single day with the most important reminder available: faith is bigger. Faith wins.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7
The fear that paralyzes, that shrinks, that keeps her from the life God has called her to — that spirit did not come from God. God’s gift is power. God’s gift is love. God’s gift is the sound, clear, unshaken mind that can look at the obstacle and say: my God is bigger than this. The sign on the wall is the daily reminder of what God has actually given her — and what He has not.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9
This is the command that God gave Joshua at the threshold of the Promised Land — the moment when the fear was most reasonable, the obstacle most visible, the risk most real. And God’s answer to all of it was not a strategy or a guarantee of easy success. It was a presence: I will be with you wherever you go. The faith that is bigger than fear is not the faith that believes nothing will go wrong. It is the faith that believes He will be there if it does.
"I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears." — Psalm 34:4
The Psalmist does not say the fears disappeared on their own. He says he sought the Lord — and the Lord answered. The deliverance from fear is not a passive experience. It is the active, daily, deliberate turning toward the One who is bigger than every fear she has ever had. The sign on the wall is the invitation to do exactly that — every morning, every time the fear speaks, every moment when the faith needs to be chosen again.
At 14" x 14" x 2", the Faith Bigger Fear Perfect Pallet is a substantial, commanding presence on any wall — large enough to anchor a gallery wall, to stand alone above the desk, to fill the space above the mantel with the most important words in the room. The rustic pallet aesthetic gives it the warmth and the character of a piece that feels lived-in and loved — the kind of sign that looks like it has always been there, that belongs to the home rather than simply decorating it.
On the office wall, where the fear of failure speaks loudest and the faith needs to speak louder. On the bedroom wall, where the fears of the night are met by the declaration of the morning. On the entryway wall, the last thing she sees before she walks out the door into whatever the day holds. On the living room wall, where the whole family sees it and is shaped by it. The sign that goes wherever the fear is — and speaks faith into it every single day.
For the friend who is standing at the threshold of something terrifying and beautiful and needs the reminder that her faith is bigger than what she is afraid of. For the graduate stepping into the unknown. For the woman starting the business, making the move, having the hard conversation, taking the leap that fear has been telling her not to take. For a housewarming, a birthday, a graduation, a Christmas gift, or a just-because gift for the person whose wall needs this word and whose heart needs this reminder. By Sincere Surroundings — let your faith be bigger than your fear. Say it every day until you believe it. And then say it again.
