India — the birthplace of Assam tea, the backbone of every great Irish Breakfast blend. Indian black teas are known for their bold, brisk character, their deep amber liquor, and their malty strength that holds up beautifully to milk and sugar. Assam in particular brings the body and the boldness that defines this style of tea.

Sri Lanka — formerly Ceylon, one of the most storied tea-producing nations in the world. Sri Lankan black teas bring brightness, a clean crispness, and a slightly citrusy note that lifts the blend and keeps it from becoming heavy. It is the element that makes the cup feel alive.

Brewing Guide
